Make it more difficult for failing charter schools to operate in the City of Dayton
Expand options for a city/DPS youth works program
Establish new apprenticeship programs between DPS and City of Dayton
Create new fellowship programs for local college students to work at City Hall in an effort to retain local talent
Establish a committee of parents, teachers, city staff, students, and administrators to monitor progress of DPS’ 2022-27 strategic plan
Form the new Dayton Youth Council which will regularly meet, interact with city staff and elected officials, and make policy recommendations
Provide city-owned property to DPS to help with bussing issues and advocate at the state level for a permanent solution and fair funding for public schools
