  • Prioritize enforcement of traffic laws 

  • Adopt a community policing model focused on neighborhood/police partnerships 

  • Fund the HRC’s Know Your Rights program 

  • Analyze police technology programs and create a new neighborhood survey regarding the use of police technology 

  • Establish a committee of community-police representatives to research best practices – meet once a month in a public meeting. All community representatives will be chosen after a review of their resume and public input 

  • Advance polices that address the root causes of violence: safe and affordable housing, conflict intervention, access to affordable childcare, economic opportunities, and mental health support
