  • Prioritize enforcement of traffic laws 

  • Adopt a community policing model focused on neighborhood/police partnerships 

  • Create a Community Resource Officer program where licensed and trained professionals help at-risk residents with stable housing, employment, and mental health services and support

  • Fund the HRC’s Know Your Rights program 

  • Audit current police technology programs and create a new neighborhood survey regarding the use of police technology 

  • Establish a committee of community-police representatives to research best practices and meet once a month in a public meeting.

  • Advance new policies that address the root causes of violence: safe and affordable housing, conflict intervention, access to affordable childcare, economic opportunities for all, and mental health support
